Setting the Standards

Music – Not sure I am allowed to post copyrighted tunes on here. But my musical taste is basically Jazz and Classic Rock.

If she plays her cards right, she could be a Jimmy girl

Women – I have my own taste in women and I sarge in order to satisfy my own tastes.  This is what I consider to be beautiful physically. I am not saying either are ’10′s, just that I’d be up for opening them and committing to a ten minute conversation (in fact I did).

Neither are perfect. I know this, you don’t need to tell me. It’s the slight flaws in them that I just adore. If this means I have poor taste, then so be it. Read another blog.

I just don’t want usual blog discussions ‘dude you said she is an 8, she is a 6, her ears are pointy’. This isn’t a ratings site. If you want to debate about who is hot or not then go on ‘Hot or Not’.

In order to avoid this I tend to avoid rating the girl if there is an accompanying photo OR I purposely knock a few points down – I pulled this 7, and it’s a photo of clearly someone much hotter.

However, what is open for discussion is how I classify my ratings system. I am not saying this system is right for everyone, it’s just what I use.

Anything below a 6 is territory where you probably wouldn’t go unless there was some specific circumstance. Such as you were blackmailed, co-erced, Australian.

This girl WAS a Jimmy girl

A 6 – A six is when people say ‘have you seen Jimmy’s girl. Rather him than me. Hahaha’. The kind of girl you might take home if she throws herself at you at the end of the night. You’d be embarrassed if your parents saw you with her, but your mates know what’s going on.

A 7 – A standard girl. Average looking girl. You can date her, introduce her to your mates. She’s cute or pretty or sexy, not outstanding but there is no shame. You could marry a 7 quite happily really if you fell in love with her. You look at her and always remember physically what attracted you.

An 8 – An 8 is when people say ‘have you seen Jimmy’s girl, she’s fit’. You’re proud when you’re with an 8. People are envious.

A 9 – A 9 is where you are famous and your reputation precedes you for the girl you are dating. When people discuss you it’s one of the first things they say. You take her to your home town and everyone is talking about it, heads turn all the time. Your dad congratulates you.

A 10 – For me a 10 is just a 9 who also has it going on in the soul. She’s hot AND she knows how to walk, move, smile, treat people. I think a 10 is such a personal judgement. When a 10 is in a room, that’s where the men gravitate. The sound of her voice intoxicates. The way she moves. Her kindness and femininity and how she treats people are paramount.

I have met girls who are so beautiful whole bars have turned their heads to watch her walk across the room. And then when I spoke to them, I felt I was settling for second best. IE, yes she is beautiful but there’s a girl out there who not only looks great but doesn’t swear so much/dress so tackily/has an education/walks better/doesn’t smoke.

So for this reason, for me, ’10′ incorporates elements outside pure physical beauty.

But an 8 can’t be a 9 because she’s got a good personality. That’s just bullshit.

….are you sure that a 6 isn’t someone who is slightly better than average, but nothing to talk about. A 7 is a pretty girl, an 8 is a really pretty girl and a 9 is a stunner and a 10 is a knockout but rare? 5 is average…I’ve seen men and women who are not ugly but not attractive, just kind of nothing, they’re 5s…a friend of mine is sort of cute, she’s a 6. My other friend is pretty but nothing to be jealous of she’s a 7. On a good day I’m an 8, def not a super model but def better than most girls, and bangin’ body. I’m sure some could say I was actually a 7, but then a 7 is much higher than you think cause I hear compliments all the time.
