During a trip to Lithuania in September 2010, Suave, Krauser and I began a custom that would remain with the RSG gang for the rest of their days. That being – ‘The competition for the title of F Town’.

The rules of F Town are simple. It has to be a new close and it has to be outside your home country (home country being where you spend most of your time. Burto registered his as Australia then tried to claim every London close as a new F Town). The prize is great, the chance to wear the sacred F Town ring and the bragging rights that come with it.
We could say that you have to MEET and CLOSE the girl outside your home country but that would close the door on some of the more amusing underhand tactics. Past shenanigans include Bastards meeting girls in London and organising Eurostars to the continent to close them for the first time and thus claim ‘F Town’ and Krauser even looking into the possibility of getting out into international waters to close a date. Oh the competition is THAT serious.
F Town pays no attention to quality. This makes it much funnier as a Bastard can close a really nice girl but two days later have his ring cruelly snatched away because someone was willing to take the low hanging fruit. F Town is the FA cup of pick-up. Surprises can happen, it’s all about what happened on the day and you can never belittle the current F Town’s achievement.
I remember our last day in Lithuania, i had a girl in my room, Krauser had another in his and we both trying to get to F Town, only to stop at the gate and Jimmy laugh all the way back to London…
I only got the girl to my bedroom thanks to Krauser’s DHVs.
Ahahahah. I remember, I was current F Town and Krauser brought a girl back. I was waiting with dread in the kitchen sure he was going to close her. The worst thing is you have to stand by the rules and wing as well to help the guy get to F Town, so it’s double painful.
He didn’t so I thought I’d won. I woke up at about 4 am and Suave is back with a girl he met in a club, I can hear him in his bedroom with her.
All I could do was wait and see if Suave took the crown.
